Our OEM Client based in Gaydon is searching for a Vehicle Programme and Test Planner to join their team on an Inside IR35 contract.
Umbrella Pay Rate: £27.03 per hour.
Duties:
- Evaluate new vehicle content and changes to identify the impact on Ergonomics and communicate to relevant Stakeholders in the team to co‐ordinate response.
- Monitor vehicle content and ensure that the necessary Ergonomics requirements are active in the Central Engineering Test Management System throughout development.
- Lead point of contact for Design Verification (DV) Testing for the Ergonomics Team, including organising availability of physical and virtual vehicle test properties, maintaining the team's DV Testing Calendar and Central Engineering Test Management System, and ensuring team are aware of upcoming deadlines.
- Ensure completion of the Ergonomics Team's DV Testing, including test reports.
- Maintain a clear and up‐to‐date summary of Ergonomics status and priorities across all vehicles and share updates with Integration Teams and other Stakeholders.
- Refresh and maintain team website to ensure internal team members and other departments can easily find information and resources.
Skills Required:
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to plan and coordinate activities for a team of around 40 people.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with confidence in working with Senior Stakeholders and Cross‐functional Teams.
- Experience using Agile Planning Tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence).
- Familiar with Workflow Management Tools (e.g. IBM Rational DOORS and IBM Engineering Workflow Management).
- Proficient with Collaboration Tools (e.g. SharePoint, Lucid).
Desirable:
- Experience working in an Automotive Environment and/or in an Ergonomics, Human Factors or HMI role.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Project Management, or related field.
