Our OEM Client based in Gaydon is searching for a Sustaining Engineer to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a maternity cover contract position with a proposed end date of 12th February 2027. Pay Rate Umbrella Pay Rate: £33.64 per hour.
Duties:
- Researches, develops, and prepares specifications for improvements to existing and/or new products, processes, equipment, and technology.
- Identifies quality and cost improvement opportunities.
- Evaluates, develops and verifies product concepts to ensure products being developed are reliable and conform to specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Managing large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager.
- Coaching, reviewing and delegating work to lower-level professionals.
- Problems faced are difficult and often complex.
