Our client, a global engineering consultancy, is looking for a Senior Engineer – Mechanical Engineering, to join their team in Leamington Spa. This is a permanent position working 3 days on-site and 2 days at home. They specialise in rapid engineering and development of sustainable electrified propulsion systems and associated technologies, working directly and collaboratively with automotive, commercial vehicle, off-highway, aerospace and defence OEMs, Tier-1s and industry research bodies through their technical centres in North America, the U.K. and India. Position Description: In the role of Senior Engineer – Mechanical Engineering, you’ll be a passionate Mechanical Engineer motivated by solving complex transmission and driveline solutions at component and system level by design and/or analysis and simulation methods. You will have a demonstrable background of design and/or analysis and simulation of precision rotating components, structural components and complete systems, where you have shown high levels of initiative and attention to detail whilst managing yourself and others to tight deadlines You’ll be operating in a fast-paced project environment, needing technical, commercial and customer management skills whilst collaborating with some of the most innovative people, companies, and technologies on the planet.
