Our OEM Client based in Coventry, is searching for a Project Lead to join their team on an Inside IR35 contract. Umbrella Pay Rate: £27.03 per hour. The role is for a project leader with a background in support of cross-functional projects with multi-stakeholder requirements. The primary purpose of the role within Research is to support the collaborative R&D strategy development, planning and delivery of collaborative R&D projects working cross-functionally with partner organisations in industry and academia and leveraging government funding to accelerate and scale up R&D projects.
Duties
- High degree of numeracy, attention to detail.
- Planning and co-ordination of work across multiple projects to meet deadlines.
- High level of organisational skills.
- Effective communication across internal cross functional teams and external customer facing.
Experience Required
- Previous work experience within a business planning / project management office environment.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, previous use of enterprise systems (e.g. SAP).
- Cross-functional working – planning own work and responsive to support requests.
- Self-motivated and able to operate with low supervision.
- Preparation of formal documentation to prescribed standards.
- Control and management of confidential information including GDPR compliance.
Desirable Experience Requested
- Previously worked in/around government funded collaborative R&D projects, e.g. Innovate UK and EU.
- Previously worked within an accountancy audit / regulated finance framework.
Role is based at National Automotive Innovation Centre at University of Warwick (NAIC). Parking permit included for University of Warwick managed carparks. Some occasional travel to our other client sites may be required. Some hybrid work arrangements possible for remote/home working.
