Project Engineering Technologist

Our OEM Client based in Gaydon, is searching for a Project Engineering Technologist to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a contract up until 30th January 2026. Umbrella Pay Rate: £30.07 per hour. Job Description: Technologists apply engineering principles in the implementation of products, systems, and processes. This differs from Engineers who use theoretical aspects of engineering principles to research and conceptually design products, systems, processes, etc. Some countries may require Technologists to have a formal certification or registration and/or a formal Technologist Degree to practice as a Technologist. Professional Technicians have a Technical Degree, and some incumbents have a combination of both education and experience. Para-Professional Technicians are responsible for maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting, and may not have any certifications or education but experience. Duties: Provides technical support for project engineering activities. Supports preparation of design, project controls and specifications, schedules, production, transportation, installation, testing and/or commissioning of equipment.  Reviews and verifies progress for invoicing or payment as appropriate.  Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision.
