Our OEM Client based in Ryton-on-Dunsmore, Coventry, is searching for an AME Senior Engineer to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a contract position until 18th September 2026. Umbrella Pay Rate: Β£33.64 per hour. Duties: Ensure all given programmes are delivered to agreed timing plan. Drive resolution of issues through AIMS (Internal Issue Management System). Ensure all scorecard items are completed to achieve an on time and on quality launch. Ensure all build issues are contained or resolved within 24 hours. Lead various Agile meetings such as Stand Up, Group Sync and Sprint Planning. Work with cross-functional teams to identify the route cause to complex issues and define solutions using robust problem-solving techniques. Promote a culture of continuous improvement via Lessons Learnt and the use of best practice. Co-ordinate launch activities such as the launch checklists, scorecards and gateways. Working with the cross functional SVO team and our clientβs wider business to ensure all gateways are passed robustly on time. Manage vehicle movements and storage for embargoed vehicles. Skills Required: Excellent problem-solving abilities. Methodical but dynamic approach to solving complex problems. A good communicator with the ability to assimilate data from multiple areas to reach a conclusion. Good knowledge of Vehicle Manufacturing Process and Procedures. Results driven with a passion for continuous improvement and ability to meet or plan to tight deadlines robustly and honestly. An individual with the ability to challenge existing thinking in a positive way whilst building credibility and trust through experience and personal style
