Our OEM Client based in Gaydon, is searching for an Integration Engineer to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a contract position until 31st March 2026. Umbrella Pay Rate: £33.64 per hour. Duties: This role is to lead the diagnosis of software and systems issues in the development phase of an Automotive Vehicle Platform. The successful candidate will be part of the Central Systems Integration Team. CSI have the key responsibility of planning and co-ordinating delivery of software from multiple ECU\’s which when combined deliver the features and systems of the vehicle under development. This particular role within CSI will focus on issues resolution, specifically understanding root cause and assisting with resolution of systems and software issues within the vehicle. They will engage directly with complex issues to aid with data gathering, defining the problem, analysing the data with the intent to understand which team within our client owns the resolution of the problems. Role Activities: Determine the level of urgency required during the first stages of investigations for an issue. Ensuring accuracy of data captured to ensure the quality of level 1 triage issue tickets when raised. Ensure key testing assets are kept up to date and help in testing complex issues / systems. Working with all other areas of the business to ensure issues are understood and prioritised correctly. Skills Required: Strong technical background with proven knowledge of electrical & software engineering Knowledge of components and software systems, including architectures and integrated software solutions. Understanding of design principles and the application of quality tools. Able to prioritise workload and lead issue resolution (with support) either individually or as part of a cross-functional team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate at all levels within the business Knowledge of problem-solving, and quality tools.
