Our OEM Client based in Wolverhampton is searching for a Communications & Engagement Specialist to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a contract position with a proposed end date of 6th November 2026. Umbrella Pay Rate: £289.84 per day.
This opportunity is for a Communications & Engagement specialist to work on a manufacturing systems transformation at JLR's powertrain facility. The Communication and Engagement specialist's overarching objective is ensuring robust communication & engagement with the impacted users, getting the organisation engaged and ready for the change, and ensuring that the change is adopted and sustained.
Key activities include:
- Conducting Change Impact Assessments to identify the gaps in knowledge and produce a change plan to close them.
- Create engaging content for various platforms including newsletters, SharePoint site, noticeboard posters, banners, PowerPoint presentations, email messages, surveys and materials supporting senior managers and stakeholders.
- Release communications to the impacted users and monitor results.
- Arrange and host communications events, show and tell events, demonstrations working with the change and training team and product specialists.
- Take ownership of change and communication materials posted in the SharePoint site, encouraging managers and stakeholders to visit the site as a key source of information and assistance in delivering the change across their teams.
- Tracking and reporting business readiness in senior reviews.
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required:
- You must be a people-person, with a customer first approach.
- Familiar with change frameworks.
- Good communicator.
- Able to prepare and present readiness statuses.
- Self-driven & experienced with change activities - understanding 'what's next' and delivering it.
Desirable Education Requested:
- Change qualifications are desirable but not essential.
