Our OEM Client based in Gaydon is searching for a UI Designer (Production) to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a contract position with a proposed end date of 31st March 2027.
Umbrella Pay Rate: £27.03 per hour.
Duties:
- Working across some of the most desirable automotive brands in the world, you will join at an exciting time.
- Collaborating closely between the UX and UI design teams, you will be responsible for interpreting and realising creative intent, designing components that are faithful to the vision which can be understood by development teams; whilst ensuring visual quality control to complex HMI specifications with pixel-perfect UI.
- You will act as the UI champion, promoting good design practices and educating where possible.
- You are a passionate designer with experience in working with strong brand guidelines and design systems, underpinned by good UX thinking, principles and practice.
- You love working in the detail and have an interest in both technical and creative design.
- You know what makes an engaging user experience and the importance of consistent brand-led narratives.
Skills Required:
- Proficient in Figma & Adobe suite including Photoshop, Illustrator.
- Experience working with design systems and actively contributing to and evolving them.
Education Required:
- Experience working as a UI Designer.
- A portfolio showcasing previous work.
- Able to work collaboratively between cross-functional teams.
- Degree level qualification in a related design field.
