Our OEM Client based in Gaydon is searching for a Senior Project Engineer to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a contract position with a proposed end date of 31st March 2027.
Umbrella Pay Rate: £33.64 per hour.
Duties:
- Lead the engineering delivery of programme content.
- Manage communications with stakeholders, assisting performance through liaising with functional attribute leaders by leading Stakeholder Alignment sessions.
- Lead and coach team members to success.
- Apply Agile working practices.
Essential Skills Required:
- Programme Management for Engineering Content.
- Data Analysis Skills (using Excel, Jira, Smartsheet).
- Good communication and presentation skills.
Experience and Qualifications Required:
- Experience of delivering engineering content.
- Engineering Programme Management.
- Agile working practices.
- Methodical detailed approach to work context.
- Analytical skills to identify how one issue can impact on another and put in place the required interventions through support or from own knowledge base.
- MS Office and Jira/Confluence competencies.
- Ability to present complex data & issues to a varied audience.
- Experience of Problem Resolution using structured approaches.
Desirable Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience with propulsion or electrical commodities.
- Experience in the automotive industry.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science.
- Experience in 3Dx.
- Ability to manage risks and issues.
- Experience of supplier management.
- Degree/APM PMQ/Agile qualified or equivalent experience preferred.
