Our OEM Client based in Gaydon is searching for an Infotainment Engineer to join their team. This is a contract position with a proposed end date of 31st March 2027. Umbrella Pay Rate: £27.03 per hour.
Duties:
- Infotainment Engineering focus shall be on problem solving, data capture using various tools & techniques, requirements capture within the Infotainment Space.
- Reviewing requirements to ensure the intended functionality has been delivered and flagging any deviations.
- Capturing critical data to support issue triage & problem solving such as DLT, Wireshark, VLAN, CAN logs, SOMEIP etc.
- Working with internal and external suppliers to ensure issues are resolved as quickly as possible.
- Supporting investigations on critical/showstopper issues to mitigate programme delays.
- Collaborating with the Triage team to problem solve key issues across multiple layers of the infotainment system.
- Applying industry best practice to resolve key issues as efficiently as possible.
- Engaging with the Product Owners within the Infotainment space, delivering solutions to various problems and facilitating between teams.
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required:
- Capture & understand Wireshark/VLAN/DLT/CAN/SOMEIP logs.
- Six Sigma Problem Solving Techniques - 5-whys, Fishbone Analysis, IS IS NOT.
- Familiarity with Snapshot / Corvus Tool.
- Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
