About Fussy

We’re Fussy…about everything in our mission to banish single-use plastic from your bathroom. Having experienced exceptional growth over the past four years, we are now looking for a talented individual to join the team as a Midweight Graphic Designer. Working within our marketing department you will be responsible for executing design briefs across a variety of channels. This is an exciting opportunity to join a scale-up through a significant period of growth.

What you’ll be doing

  • Create visually compelling assets for social media, email marketing, and web.
  • Take ownership of end-to-end campaign design.
  • Assist in the design of marketing materials including retail decks.
  • Ensure consistent use of brand colours, typography, and visual guidelines across all assets and brand channels.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to bring campaigns to life.
  • Manage multiple design briefs from different teams and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Work with the manager to organise and track incoming design requests.
  • Design compelling layouts that adhere to best practice.

About you

Great comes in lots of different forms, and we’re really open to seeing candidates from a range of backgrounds. Given the nature of this role and what we’ll ask of you, we do believe that the following skills are needed to be able to deliver to a high standard:

  • Circa 3+ years of experience in a similar midweight Graphic Design role, with experience ideally working closely with DTC clients.
  • An impeccable and fierce attention to detail.
  • Able to problem-solve basic design and give creative solutions.
  • Experience designing end-to-end campaigns.
  • Experience designing for multiple channels (email, social, and web).
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • A strong understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout design.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to design consistency.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to justify design decisions.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to feedback.

You have big ambition; there are huge opportunities for growth in this role for someone with the right attitude. And anyone who has these skills too would likely be a super fit for this role, but these are by no means essential:

  • Bonus: knowledge of UI/UX, experience with motion or video editing, and Figma.

What we offer

We’re pretty proud of what we’ve built so far, and we know it’s the people who’ll get us where we’re going. Here’s what you’ll get:

  • A chance to play a part in banishing single-use plastic from the bathroom.
  • Hybrid working with Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in our London (Shoreditch) office.
  • 33 days annual leave including flexible bank holidays + a day off for your birthday – we encourage you to take time off to switch off, rest, and recharge.
  • Our WellHub membership with a range of fitness & wellbeing options - we care about our team’s wellness, from physical to mental health.
  • Share options after probation, so that you can benefit from our growth.
  • Gym membership.
