- Define ways of working and processes to enable speed and clarity
- Set the standard for creative excellence across the business
- Drive Creative Strategy & Campaigns
- Overall responsibility for art direction of campaigns across all channels
- Work closely with Growth to ensure creative is both beautiful and performance-driven
- Establish creative playbooks to scale output effectively.
- Creative Direction & Brand Expression
- Safeguard Fussy’s visual identity, tone and storytelling across every touchpoint
- Act as the creative sign-off for most touchpoints
- Oversee Creative Production
- Direct and elevate all creative production
- Oversee concepting, art direction, casting, styling and execution
- Build a scalable production model balancing speed, cost and quality
- Collaborate & Lead Cross-Functionally
- Partner with Brand, Growth, NPD and Commercial teams to align creative with business priorities
- Work with external partners (photographers, studios, freelancers) where needed
- Lead, Inspire & Develop Talent
- Coach, mentor and develop the creative team
- Foster a culture of high standards, curiosity, speed and “fussiness”
About you
Great comes in lots of different forms, and we’re really open to seeing candidates from a range of backgrounds. Given the nature of this role and what we’ll ask of you, we do believe that the following skills are needed to be able to deliver to a high standard:
- Are currently a Head of Creative / Design
- Have experience building and leading creative teams in high-growth DTC, lifestyle or FMCG brands
- From a design background, balancing strong creative instinct and taste
- Are as comfortable setting creative systems as you are shaping standout executions
- Have delivered high-volume, high-quality creative across multiple channels
- Are confident directing both scrappy and high-production shoots
- Are a strong leader who can bring clarity, raise standards, and inspire a team
This Role Isn’t for You If…
- You prefer purely executional design work
- You don’t enjoy leading teams or building functions
- You struggle in fast-paced, evolving environments
What we offer
- A chance to play a part in banishing single-use plastic from the bathroom
- A salary of £70,000 - £85,000 depending on experience
- Hybrid working with Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in our London (Shoreditch) office
- 33 days annual leave including flexible bank holidays + a day off for your birthday – we encourage you to take time off to switch off, rest and recharge.
- Our WellHub membership with a range of fitness & wellbeing options - we care about our team’s wellness, from physical to mental health
