About Fussy

We’re Fussy…about everything in our mission to banish single-use plastic from your bathroom. Having experienced exceptional growth over the past four years, we are now looking for a talented individual to join the Growth team as our German Content Creator. This is a creative performance role: you're not just translating copy, you're making sure Fussy lands natively with a German audience. You'll make ads, brief creators, and be the final sign-off on content that goes out in German. This is an exciting opportunity to join a scale-up through a significant period of international growth. You’ll have real ownership from day one and direct impact on how we grow in the DACH market.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Write, concept, and star in German-language ads across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube from scroll-stopping hooks to longer-form scripts, becoming one of the faces of Fussy in the DACH region.
  • Brief, manage, and review German-language UGC and content creators, giving feedback grounded in both performance data and brand guidelines.
  • Brief graphic designers and video editors on German-language creative, and review their work to make sure it lands with a German audience.
  • Give final review to German-language ad creative before it goes live.
  • Work with our Creative Strategy team to understand what's working in English-language creative and localise those learnings into German-language concepts.
  • Stay close to German consumer culture, social trends, and competitor activity in the DACH market.

Who you are

  • You are a content creator who loves making thumb-stopping content.
  • You have native or near-native German language skills.
  • You have a genuine feel for copywriting and what makes an ad actually work, not just look pretty.
  • You have experience in a direct-to-consumer, agency, or content-led environment where you've seen how performance creative works.
  • You are comfortable owning a brief from idea to delivery without heavy hand-holding.
  • You have a strong eye for brand consistency - you'll be the last line of defence on a lot of our DACH output.
  • You are collaborative and communicative - you'll be working across growth, brand, and external creators.

Bonus points, but not a deal breaker:

  • You have existing relationships with German-language creators or influencers.
  • You have experience managing UGC or creator programmes.
  • You have some graphic design or video editing skills.

This isn't the right role for you if…

  • You don't like working in fast-paced and changeable environments (this is start-up life, after all).
  • You'd rather just translate than write from scratch.
  • You’re not comfortable recording content yourself.

What we offer

  • A chance to play a part in banishing single-use plastic from the bathroom.
  • Hybrid working with Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in our London (Shoreditch) office.
  • 33 days annual leave including flexible bank holidays + a day off for your birthday – we encourage you to take time off to switch off, rest and recharge.
  • Our WellHub membership with a range of fitness & wellbeing options - we care about our team’s wellness, from physical to mental health.
  • Share options after probation, so that you can benefit from our growth.
  • Gym membership.
