Responsibilities

  • Develop and innovate Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Multi-Modal Sensing technologies for perception in autonomous systems.
  • Transform research concepts into working prototypes and work on their integration into autonomous systems.
  • Support data collection and curation activities.
  • Liaise and work cooperatively with our global team of experts and engineers.
  • Mentor undergraduate and graduate engineers.

Minimum Requirements

  • MSc degree in Computer Vision, Machine Learning or a closely related field.
  • 4+ years of industrial experience in development and delivery of Deep Learning based solutions for perception systems.
  • Experience of production-grade and high-volume Computer Vision and Machine Learning pipelines for pre-processing, training and deployment.
  • Excellent knowledge of the state-of-the-art Deep Learning techniques for Computer Vision.
  • Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented programming and excellent skills in Python programming.
  • Extensive experience in using major Deep Learning Libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and Computer Vision libraries (e.g., OpenCV, PCL).
  • Very good software engineering practices and familiarity with software development platforms, version control and issue tracking tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in developing multi-modal 3D Computer Vision solutions.
  • Hands-on experience in using classical machine learning techniques.
  • Good knowledge of neural network optimisation techniques, e.g., quantisation and pruning.
  • Good knowledge of probabilistic methods for object tracking (e.g., Kalman/Particle Filters, RTS smoothing).
  • Domain expertise in Robotics or Driver Assistance Systems.
