Our blue-chip clients expect us to deliver outstanding service, driving the growth of their business in the foodservice market.

Role Description: The National Account Manager will be responsible for managing existing business and developing new accounts for the company. The role will require someone with experience in identifying, targeting, and developing new accounts and developing strong end-user customer and Client relationships, liaising with our Clients to develop strategies to win new business. It will initially involve a lot of groundwork to generate appointments and win new business. The role will work predominantly within the Cost sector, focusing on development with the National Account Buyer, Category Managers and Development Chefs. Working with Contract Caterers, Care Homes, Buying Groups, and Local Education Authorities. You will need to maximise your time identifying contacts, arranging appointments, and developing a strong pipeline. The role will also involve dealing with proposals from some Cost Sector accounts where detailed category information is required, working closely with our clients to ensure the right information is submitted in a timely manner. This element would be working alongside the Commercial Director in addition to the National Account Managers.

The Person: Essential attributes include:

  • Experienced Foodservice sales professional with a thorough knowledge of the UK Foodservice market
  • Experience selling into Foodservice Wholesalers and End User sectors, or the drive to learn to sell in these sectors
  • Identify, research, and prioritise target customers and segments using market insights and competitor analysis
  • Highly proactive and the ability to build dynamic customer relationships
  • Clear evidence and success in winning and developing new business
  • Ambitious, with the desire to develop your career to the next level in our company
  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the Fusion team
  • An outgoing personality, using their own initiative within a highly focused team
