The National Account Manager will be responsible for managing existing business and developing new accounts for the company. The role will require someone with experience in identifying, targeting, and developing new accounts and developing strong end-user customer and Client relationships, liaising with our Clients to develop strategies to win new business.
The role will work predominantly within the Cost sector, focusing on development with the National Account Buyer, Category Managers and Development Chefs. Working with Contract Caterers, Care Homes, Buying Groups, and Local Education Authorities.
The role will also involve dealing with proposals from some Cost Sector accounts where detailed category information is required, working closely with our clients to ensure the right information is submitted in a timely manner. This element would be working alongside the Commercial Director in addition to the National Account Managers.
- Experienced Foodservice sales professional with a thorough knowledge of the UK Foodservice market
- Experience selling into Foodservice Wholesalers and End User sectors, or the drive to learn to sell in these sectors
- Identify, research, and prioritise target customers and segments using market insights and competitor analysis
- Highly proactive and the ability to build dynamic customer relationships
