Business Development Manager Responsibilities:- You will be required to develop new business within Foodservice, focusing mainly on Universities and Hospitals, plus Wholesalers at depot level through the Wholesaler Sales Teams.
- Responsible for promoting our client brands, generating sales over the phone, on Teams calls and face-to-face.
- You will be part of a dynamic team, but must be able to work alone in order to generate your own leads and increase the customer base.
- Accountable for maintaining the database of contacts and updates for reporting purposes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, dynamic and engaging.
- An outgoing personality, using their own initiative within a highly focused team in a growing Foodservice dedicated business.
- Experience of face-to-face sales within the Foodservice sector.
- Confident telephone manner.
- An efficient planner, good time manager who works productively.
- Clear evidence and success in winning and developing existing and new business.
- Good administrative and IT skills.
