We're exhibiting at InstallerSHOW 2026 - the UK's largest trades industry event, 40,000+ visitors over three days - and we're looking for two people to join us on the booth. This is an unpaid internship suited to anyone looking for real event and brand experience. You'll be representing a live product at a major UK trade show - genuine portfolio material.
The booth does the work. The banners explain the product. You're there to be approachable and point interested people in the right direction.
What the role looks like:
- You're near the booth, relaxed and friendly
- When someone pauses or reads the banner, you open with one line
- If they want to know more, you walk them through a quick demo or take their details
- If they're not interested, you let them go
- Most of your time is spent being present, not talking
- You'll have maybe 10–15 real conversations across a full day. The rest is just being there.
What you need to know about the product fits on one page. We'll send it to you before the show along with a short video briefing. There's nothing technical to learn.
What we're looking for:
- Comfortable around strangers without being pushy
- Can tell when someone's interested vs. just being polite
- Explains things simply and knows when to stop
- Has been in any customer-facing environment before - retail, hospitality, events, front of house, anything similar
What you don't need:
- Technical knowledge
- Any background in trades or construction
To apply, send a short message about yourself and any relevant experience.
