The Role
As General Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our Birmingham development, leading everything from pre-opening preparations to delivering an exceptional resident experience.
You'll combine strong commercial instincts with a genuine passion for people, ensuring our development is not only a brilliant place to live, but a thriving, high-performing business.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the launch: Take ownership of our exciting new development, ensuring a successful opening and smooth transition into operations.
- Drive commercial success: Maximise occupancy, lead sales performance and deliver against ambitious revenue and operational targets.
- Build an incredible team: Recruit, inspire and develop a high-performing team who bring the Fusion culture to life.
- Deliver exceptional experiences: Create a welcoming, vibrant community where residents feel valued and at home.
- Champion the Fusion brand: Build relationships with universities, local businesses and key partners to establish Fusion in Birmingham.
- Own the operation: Oversee budgets, property standards, compliance and day-to-day performance, ensuring everything runs seamlessly.
- Bring the energy: Lead resident engagement, events and initiatives that make Fusion stand out from the crowd.
What We're Looking For
- An inspiring, hands-on leader with experience in hospitality, student accommodation, hotels or a similar customer-focused environment.
- A commercially minded individual with a strong track record in driving sales, revenue and performance.
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves the excitement of launching something new.
- A natural people person who can build brilliant teams and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
