Are you an Operations Manager with experience working in the heavy engineering sector? Are you looking for a role offering autonomy, technical development and genuine opportunities for progression? An excellent opportunity is available to join an evolving business who are investing heavily in their assets and systems, taking on full operational responsibility for their key site in the South.
An ideal applicant will be an Operations Manager (or similar) with experience in a waste management, EfW, aggregates, or heavy engineering environment. You will have proven leadership abilities and a key understanding of production efficiencies. The company turnover circa £1bn per annum and operate in one of the UK’s fastest growing and sustainable sectors. They are going through significant growth with new sites opened this year and significant investment ongoing at their existing facilities. Due to this growth and expansion, we are seeking an Operations Manager to lead their key site in the South.
In this position, you will manage an experienced team covering production, maintenance, export, and procurement. You will have full autonomy in your day-to-day work and report key metrics to the Group Operations Manager to help with informed decision making at a group level. Full industry, systems and export training will be provided.
