An excellent opportunity for an experienced project leader to take ownership of the CAPEX programme for a major manufacturer undergoing significant growth and investment.
As Head of Projects, you’ll lead a high-performing team in the delivery of a diverse portfolio of site upgrades, process improvements, and capital installation projects. This is a fully autonomous position offering scope for real influence, long-term progression, and continued professional development.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Head of Projects, Project Engineering Manager or similar, with a strong track record of leading teams and successfully delivering large-scale CAPEX projects. You’ll bring experience from manufacturing, FMCG, F&B, heavy engineering, chemical, or a similar.
The company is a well-established international manufacturer investing over £5m annually into its UK operations, with a new local facility currently in FEED. Ongoing expansion and sustained investment have created the need for a strong leader to take the helm of the projects function and oversee their delivery from cradle-to-grave.
The Role
- Head of Projects
- £75,000 – £85,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Progression
- Lead and oversee a portfolio of capital and improvement projects
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of 6 project engineers
- Engage stakeholders across the business to ensure delivery success
- Drive continuous improvement across engineering and project delivery

- Experienced Project Engineering Manager / Head of Projects (or similar)
- Proven background delivering CAPEX and site improvement projects
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in Manufacturing, FMCG, F&B, Heavy Engineering, Chemical or similar environments
