An excellent opportunity is available for an Electrical & Controls Engineer to join a leading manufacturer undergoing significant investment at its flagship manufacturing facility. Offering full project engineering training, this is a great chance for a Controls Engineer, EC&I Engineer, or Electrical Engineer with strong PLC experience, to transition into a predominantly project-based role, supporting major automation, controls and site improvement projects.

In this role, you’ll act as the site’s technical authority across PLC, HMI and SCADA systems, working alongside various stakeholders to deliver new installation, upgrades, commissioning and continuous improvement projects. The company are renowned for their retention and development of staff and continue to invest heavily in both their people and manufacturing operations. With significant CAPEX investment planned and an upcoming retirement within the team, they are now looking to appoint an Electrical & Controls Project Engineer on a permanent basis.

  • Position:
    • Electrical & Controls Engineer
    • £53,000 - £58,000 + Overtime + Progression into Project Engineering
    • Acting as technical authority on PLC, SCADA and HMI systems
    • Complete training on project engineering
    • Off tools, Days, Monday to Friday
  • Person:
    • Strong background in PLC, HMI and SCADA systems
    • Manufacturing, FMCG, F&B or similar industry experience
    • Looking to progress into project engineering
