An excellent opportunity is available to join a heavy engineering specialist, in a role offering complete industry training and clear routes of progression.
This is a brilliant chance to utilise your experience and develop it further as you deputise for the Site Manager, helping to run the company’s flagship sites at Liverpool Docks. The company is renowned for their retention & development of staff and operates in one of the most sustainable sectors in the UK. Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join the business on a full-time and permanent basis.
- Position: Site Operations Lead
- Salary: £52,000 - £53,500 + Training + Progression + Benefits
- Responsible for two adjacent operational sites at Liverpool docks
- Overseeing production output, QHSE, contractor activity and logistics operations
- Working closely with the Site Manager to support day-to-day site leadership
- Full technical and operational training provided
Person:
- Strong background in leadership, production, operations and management
- Exposure to QHSE and safety-critical environments
- Ex-military (REME, RAF, Army) background
- Engineering and/or logistics experience advantageous but not essential
- Comfortable working autonomously in a hands-on leadership role
