We’re seeking an Assistant Environmental Manager to support and lead environmental compliance/sustainability initiatives for a global chemical manufacturer.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong environmental background — whether from compliance, sustainability, auditing, or HSE — to step into a more senior role with full industry training provided.
This role would suit someone currently working as an Environmental Advisor, Sustainability Officer, Environmental Auditor, HSE Advisor, or in a similar position looking to develop their career within a supportive, structured environment.
The company turnover £4bn+ per annum, have a presence in 4 continents, and are renowned for their retention & development of staff. Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking an Assistant Environmental Manager to join the business on a full time and permanent basis.
- Assisting with site audits, inspections, and environmental compliance
- Spearhead the company-wide Sustainability training and employee engagement scheme
- Complete industry training provided

- Strong Environmental background – HSE advisor, Auditor, Sustainability Officer etc.
- Experience with ISO standards & auditing
