An Ofsted-rated “Good” primary school in Ashford, Surrey, is seeking a dedicated and dynamic part-time Music Teacher to join their team. The Role As the Music Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and inspiring music lessons to pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2. Your role will involve: * Introducing children to the fundamentals of music through singing, rhythm, and instrumental work. * Developing students' musical abilities and appreciation, from early music exploration to more structured lessons in rhythm, melody, and harmony. * Preparing students for school performances, assemblies, and other musical events. * Encouraging creativity and confidence through music, fostering a love of learning and self-expression. * Collaborating with other staff to integrate music into the wider curriculum where possible. What We’re Looking For To be successful in this role, you will need: * A relevant teaching qualification (QTS preferred) or significant experience in teaching music to primary-aged children. * A passion for music education and the ability to inspire young learners. * Strong organizational and communication skills. * Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students across all age groups. * An understanding of the primary curriculum and how music can enhance learning outcomes.
