The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, wiring, testing, and inspecting electrical and electronic equipment while ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble electrical and electronic systems from drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Carry out wiring, soldering, cable assembly, and panel wiring tasks.
- Perform basic testing and fault finding.
- Complete production and quality documentation.
- Meet production schedules and quality standards.
- Maintain a safe and organised work area.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Experience in electrical or electronic assembly.
- Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Knowledge of low-voltage AC/DC wiring.
- Good attention to detail and communication skills.
- Full UK license and own transport due to location of site.
Desirable:
- Experience with high-voltage systems, control systems, or fibre optics.
- Relevant electrical/electronic qualification.
