Location: Just outside of Pickering
Hours: Mon to Fri - 37 hrs per week
Job purpose: Performs welding / Fabrication on product components in accordance with the welding procedures manual. Metals will range from steel, Stainless steel, Duplex / Super Duplex, Inconel & Aluminium. Must have own transport due to location of site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs welding to achieve qualifications in ASME IX.
- Must be proficient and familiar in understanding fabrication and welding prints.
- Work and follow our BS EN ISO 3834-2 welding quality system.
Accountabilities:
- Types of welding include, GTAW (TIG), FCAW and general welding.
- Demonstrate confidence and reliability in dimensions, layouts, fit ups and the procedures required on the drawings.
- Ensure quality standards are met and inspection criteria are achieved.
Education/Qualifications:
- Demonstrable knowledge of welding, including weld test at interview, in TIG and FCAW.
- Requires 1 to 3 years’ experience in a wide variety of welding equipment and techniques employed in welding, grinding techniques, and fettling.
- Must have own transport due to location of site.
