Job Description
Our Client is a world leader for the supply of innovative solutions for challenging deep water intervention operations.\\n\\nJob purpose: To develop and lead the production planning function within all areas of Operations.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities: (Key Tasks)\\n\\n * Day-to-day responsibility for the Planning team and their development\\n\\n * Work with management team to support strategic and operations planning\\n\\n * Creates and maintains a clear lines of communication with Team Leaders, Production Managers, Project Manager, Sales and Buying teams daily\\n\\n * Direct ALL Master Scheduling activity, incorporating Forecasts into Master Production Schedules\\n\\n * Generate and update daily, weekly and monthly production status reports\\n\\n * Performs any necessary support functions as required by procurement process\\n\\n * Manage all related MRP maintenance, including resolving problems with Engineering and Receiving and Inspection as necessary\\n\\n * Proper and timely implementation of change orders quota in the manufacturing process\\n\\nAccountabilities: (Deliverables)\\n\\n * Raising, maintaining and closing all applicable works orders.\\n\\n * The development and ownership of MRP and the training of others\\n\\n * Schedule priorities workflow to ensure on time delivery.\\n\\n * Monitor all materials.\\n\\n * Develop team and support the Operational team.\\n\\n * Assess production capacity and identify constraints to ensure optimal utilisation of resources.\\n\\n * Work closely with production teams to balance workload and address any capacity issues proactively.\\n\\n * Monitor inventory levels and adjust production schedules to maintain optimal stock levels.\\n\\n * Implement inventory control measures to minimise excess or obsolete inventory.\\n\\n37 hours per week – Monday to Friday\\n\\n25 days holidays and 8 bank holidays\\n\\n5% pension\\n\\n2 x base salary life insurance\\n\\nPrivate healthcare
