Welder Fabricator in Pickering

Job: MIG TIG Welder/Fabricator Location: Just outside of Pickering Hours: Mon to Fri – 37 hrs per week Job purpose: Performs welding / Fabrication on product components in accordance with the welding procedures manual. Metals will range from steel, Stainless steel, Duplex / Super Duplex, Inconel & Aluminium. Must have own transport due to location of site. Key Responsibilities: • Performs welding to achieve qualifications in ASME IX. • Must be proficient and familiar in understanding fabrication and welding prints. • Work and follow our BS EN ISO 3834-2 welding quality system. Accountabilities: • Types of welding include, GTAW (TIG), FCAW and general welding • Demonstrate confidence and reliability in dimensions, layouts, fit ups and the procedures required on the drawings • Ensure quality standards are met and inspection criteria are achieved Education/Qualifications: • Demonstrable knowledge of welding, including weld test at interview, in TIG and FCAW • Requires 1 to 3 years’ experience in a wide variety of welding equipment and techniques employed in welding, grinding techniques, and fettling. • Must have own transport due to location of site
