We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join our client's production team. This hands-on role involves assembling, testing, and inspecting mechanical and hydraulic equipment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical and hydraulic components from engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Build and test subassemblies and finished products.
- Manufacture and test hoses, pipework, and associated components.
- Carry out functional and pressure testing where required.
- Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workshop environment.
- Support production schedules and project deadlines.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Experience in mechanical assembly or a similar hands-on engineering role.
- Competent using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Full UK license and own transport due to location of site.
Desirable:
- Mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
- Automotive, plant, maintenance, or mechanical fitting background.
