Our Client is a world leader for the supply of innovative solutions for challenging deep water intervention operations. Job purpose: The Logistics and Compliance Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the Import & Export Compliance Manager and the Logistics Manager by executing processes that enable the global shipment of company products. This position involves coordinating the Import/Export requirements for products within a dynamic international trade department and performing essential compliance processes in an ever-changing geopolitical landscape. Key Responsibilities: (Key Tasks) • To provide import and export documentation in accordance with international trade requirements as specified by the business. • Identify and assign the appropriate commodity code classification. • Coordinate with relevant departments within the company to ensure timely and efficient shipment of goods • Ability to confidently communicate complex logistics requirements with international clients verbally and written. • The management of road freight in the UK and EU. • Administrative support for Import/Export Compliance Manager • Processing Export licence applications • Assistance with maintaining of Russian sanction related vendor certs & renewals annually. • Compiling Shipment specific certifications (Russia) where required • AECC renewals under guidance from Import Export Compliance Manager • Assisting with the provision of relevant files for Internal Audit • Execute all tasks in compliance with Health and Safety regulations, company policies and procedures, while practicing efficient work methods and always maintaining high housekeeping standards • Fulfill any other reasonable requests made by the company to accommodate fluctuations in workload Accountabilities: (Deliverables) • Process shipping documents as required for export shipments • Processes in support of Import/Export Compliance Education/Qualifications: • Graduate degree in business administration or equivalent • Willing to work towards a Professional Qualification from the Chartered Institute of Export. Technical Competencies: • Attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines is essential • Proficient in the use of MRP and ability to interpret technical information • Computer literate with Import/Export experience required. Key Skills: • Excellent communication skills, ability to develop skillset and positive outlook • Ability to meet deadlines and achieve targets • Ability to co-operate and work well as part of a team, as well as being able to work under own initiative. • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Experience: • Previous experience within an Import / Export environment • Minimum 3 years’ experience in this role or similar 37 hours per week 8.30am to 4.30pm Mon to Thurs and 8.30am to 4pm Friday with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break Overtime – time and a half Mon-Sat and double time Sunday 25 days holidays and 8 bank holidays 5% pension Private healthcare 2 x base salary life insurance
