We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our client's manufacturing business. The successful candidate will lead the relocation of our factory to a new site and then take ongoing responsibility for managing and maintaining the facility. This is a permanent role requiring someone with proven experience in relocating a manufacturing facility or factory, combined with strong facilities management experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the relocation of the factory to a new location.
- Manage contractors, suppliers, and service providers throughout the move.
- Ensure the safe installation and commissioning of equipment and production lines.
- Minimise disruption to operations and production during the relocation.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the facility once operational.
- Manage maintenance programmes, utilities, building services, and site infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across the site.
