We are looking for a Control Systems Engineer to design, test, and update machine software. The role requires strong PLC, HMI, and software skills. You should be qualified to HNC or degree level. Occasional domestic and international travel may be needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and debug code for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs)
- Install new systems and troubleshoot existing ones, both on-site and remotely
- Improve existing processes for better efficiency and reliability, including upgrading outdated hardware and software
- Create specifications, models, and schematics for control systems using software
