We are recruiting for a global professional services group who are seeking a Group Financial Reporting Manager to own statutory and regulatory reporting across a complex international structure. With operations in over 25 offices and 16 countries, this newly created role will be instrumental in shaping accounting policy, managing global audits, and maintaining compliance across jurisdictions. This is a high-impact role, offering direct visibility to senior leadership and true ownership over financial reporting across the Group. You’ll bring rigour, structure, and clarity to a sophisticated finance environment, supporting growth, alignment, and audit-readiness at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Group and UK statutory reporting under IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Oversee audits, prepare technical accounting papers (e.g. IFRS 16, share-based payments).
- Maintain and evolve group accounting policies across multiple jurisdictions.
- Coordinate with local finance teams to align global reporting and manage reconciliations.
- Design and enhance internal controls, regulatory compliance processes, and risk registers.
- Translate complex financial concepts (e.g. dividends, profit allocations) into accessible guidance for senior stakeholders.
- Act as a partner to the business, engaging across departments.
Your Background:
- Qualified ACA/CA (or equivalent), ideally Big 4 trained.
- 3–5+ years post-qualification experience in either practice or industry.
- Strong technical grounding in IFRS, statutory accounts, and audit delivery.
- Exposure to multinational or multi-entity environments.
- Confident engaging with senior leadership and translating technical detail into business impact.
Location: Hybrid working – 3 days per week in Central London office
