Financial Controller. Growth orientated Venture Capital (VC) backed technology client. Reading, hybrid working. Reporting to the Finance Director you will lead all day-to-day core financial activity whilst developing best practice financial processes across a rapidly expanding Group. This vital role would suit a candidate who has managed financial operations in a dynamic environment, knows what good financial process looks like, and is excited by the opportunity to lead and build a high-performing team and implement best financial practice in a young growing business. Key responsibilities: Lead the financial control function responsible for month-end and annual financial close, statutory reporting and supporting the annual audit. Mentor and develop a high performing finance team (5-6 people). Ensure all monthly consolidated reporting is delivered to strict deadlines. Work with the Head of FP&A to develop robust, accurate and insightful monthly management reporting. Manage the operation and development of NetSuite. Lead the assessment and implementation of other software to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the Finance function.
