The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Financial Controller / Finance Manager to provide financial management support across two group companies. Working closely with the Directors and Bookkeeper, you will take ownership of the monthly finance cycle, forecasting and reporting requirements, ensuring accurate and timely financial information is available to support the business. The role will require approximately 3 days per month, with flexibility around working days/hours depending on monthly reporting requirements, quarter-end reporting periods and annual budgeting cycles. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a long-term opportunity, where they can build strong working relationships with the Directors and wider team, becoming a trusted finance partner to the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts for two group companies using Xero.
- Maintain and update rolling financial forecasts, incorporating actual performance and revised business assumptions.
- Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns.
- Import and reconcile Novuna finance transactions into Xero.
