Job: Welders; Location: Thirsk, North Yorkshire; Duration: Permanent; Shifts: Days
We are currently recruiting for a number of Welders for positions based in Thirsk, North Yorkshire.
Our client is one of the largest and most successful steel-work contractors in the UK; they have recently won a large amount of work so are looking to extend their workforce.
The successful applicants will ideally have structural steel welding experience. You will be responsible for achieving high quality standards in a safe manner within the production time scales.
Shifts
- Day Shifts – Monday to Thursday -6.30am to 4.30pm and Friday 6.30am to 12.30pm
Pay
- Pay Rates (PAYE): Days – £18.89 ( £43’220.32 per annum)
- Overtime rates available.
Candidates must be prepared to go on site for a weld test.
The weld test will include 135 Mag Welding Process.
- Test 1 – 8mm Single run Fillet Weld.
- Test 2 – 10mm Multi run Fillet Weld.
- Test 3 – Double bevel full Penetration Butt Weld.
