Skilled Paint Sprayer | Taunton | £14.50 to £16 per hour | Permanent
Fusion People are recruiting a Skilled Paint Sprayer for a well established architectural metalwork and steel fabrication company in Taunton.
They produce bespoke feature staircases, balconies, balustrading and architectural steelwork, and the finish on those pieces is what their reputation rests on. So this is a role for someone who takes real pride in their prep and their finish, not just someone who can pull a trigger.
Day to day:
- Surface preparation, cleaning, filling and sanding ahead of paint
- Applying industrial coatings and finishes to architectural metalwork
- Quality checking high profile pieces before they leave the workshop
- Helping the team with build, assembly and loading
What we’re looking for:
- Proven industrial spraying experience. Metalwork ideally, but coachbuilding, automotive refinishing, shopfitting or similar trades are very welcome
- Confident with airless, conventional or pressure pot systems
- A genuine eye for detail on visible, architectural finishes
- Happy to work with the wider team on assembly and dispatch
Further training and support will be provided, so there’s scope to develop.
On offer:
- £14.50 to £16 per hour depending on experience, around £29,800 to £32,900 a year
- 39.5 hours, Monday to Thursday 8am to 4:30pm, Friday 8am to 4pm
- Regular overtime available, up to 10 hours a week
- 28 days holiday including bank holidays
