A leading multinational FMCG is looking for a Director of IT Global Supply Chain, a strategic role sitting on the leadership team, to deliver value through technology and enable global operations & supply chain across the company, developing roadmaps & solutions to support decision making at VP & Exco level. You will oversee an overseas team of professionals.

Accountabilities:

  • Be a trusted partner to Chief Supply Chain Officer & their leadership team playing a critical role in development, planning and execution of short to midterm objectives through identification of technology solutions and approaches that optimise longer-term supply chain.
  • Collaborate with ExCo as part of the IT Leadership Team, contributing to the development of strategic IT roadmaps and identifying growth opportunities for the responsible discipline.
  • Work effectively with other key leaders, ITLT and Global Operations Leadership team.
  • Responsible for IT functional roadmaps, solution delivery and service performance management to fully leverage technology and implement more efficient and effective/simplified ways of working.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Have knowledge of theories, practices and techniques of best-in-class Operations technology (e.g. Demand / Supply management, Historian technology, MES, OT, transport management, contract management etc.) and be able to provide excellent insight supported by business knowledge/acumen.
  • Experience in building functional strategic IT roadmaps focused on capability, value and technology.
  • Experience in leading large-scale technology enabled business change programmes.
