Durham OR North Yorkshire OR West Yorkshire - Hybrid working 2 days from home. A Principal Highways Engineer is required to join a design consultancy in the north. You will be responsible for leading on work and projects within the highways civil engineering team, delivering infrastructure projects efficiently, cost effectively and to client standards and requirements, whilst providing support on various design and maintenance duties.
Responsibilities:
- Producing and reviewing design drawings and calculations
- Conducting structural assessments and principal inspections / special inspections
- Feasibility and preparing other technical reports
