For this Senior Operations role, you will understand the challenges of operating a Hard FM PFI Healthcare contract. Responsible for reactive and planned maintenance, minor project work and the forward capital maintenance program. Operational P&L of c10m plus another c£10m of project works.
You will be confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels up to CEO, you will have a technical background and a strong enough PFI contracts understanding to be able to hold your own with mitigation and dispute resolutions.
Amusingly described by the GM as a building site with a hospital in the middle, there are a number of capital projects happening across the site including an extension to the A&E department and a new urgent treatment centre. The trust has also gone through a site separation process and sold some land for development, with additional building works planned for the site.
Four direct reports and approximately 50 staff in total. The contract has 14 years left.
