Work as a member of the Building Services Team to deliver on schools and corporate maintenance programmes
-
Produce Electrical Building Services design calculations using a range of techniques ranging from simple hand calculations through to industry standard software such as Hevacomp, DIALux and Relux.

Produce feasibility reports, condition surveys, design specifications and drawings suitable for all RIBA work stages
-
Undertake detailed surveys on electrical building services to advise on their suitability for continued use
-
Contract administration and project management
-
Oversee and supervise the installation of building services systems, undertake commissioning management and specify maintenance and operating procedures
-
Carry out project design and complete H&S risk assessments to meet current CDM regulation requirements
-
Chair, document and issue formal meeting notes for client and contractor meetings
-
Degree or HNC in Building Services/Electrical Engineering

Ideally working towards MCIBSE

Good working knowledge of electrical services

Experience with electrical surveys and condition survey reports

Experience of working on buildings that contain asbestos

Confident in providing advice on building related matters including fire safety and sustainability

Able to produce plans, sections and detailed drawings, specifications, schedules of works and other documents to high standards

Able to investigate and analyse services defects to develop solutions to system failures

Experienced and confident in the preparation of decarbonisation/sustainability reports
-
Experienced in supervising and monitoring Electrical installation work on site

Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, Autodesk AutoCAD and NBS software, Revit
-
Knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts
-
A full UK driving license
