We are currently recruiting for experienced Paint Preppers / Shot Blasters to join a busy and growing manufacturing operation based in the Magherafelt area. These positions are available on both ongoing contract and temp-to-perm opportunities.
The Role
- Preparing surfaces for painting including sanding, masking, filling, and cleaning
- Carrying out shot blasting on components and metal surfaces
- Surface preparation work on commercial vehicles and associated parts
- Inspecting surfaces prior to paint application
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Ensuring all work meets quality standards and production deadlines
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Following all health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Previous paint prepping or shot blasting experience is essential
- Experience within automotive, commercial vehicle, or manufacturing environments preferred
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and reliable attitude
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures
