We are seeking a senior finance professional with a strong strategic mindset and proven leadership capability to lead the finance function and act as a trusted business partner to senior leadership. This role suits an organised and driven individual with excellent communication skills and the confidence to operate at all levels of the business. The successful candidate will ideally be CCAB qualified.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate, timely management and financial reporting
- Act as a finance business partner to all departments and senior leadership
- Lead finance policies, procedures, governance, and inter-departmental reporting
- Ensure effective control of costings and cash flow to support business competitiveness
- Support Directors with month-end close, management accounts, and financial reporting
- Oversee and develop the finance team and manage month-end timetables
- Measure Facilities Management performance and manage inter-department charging
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, long-term cash flow forecasts, and monthly variance analysis
- Prepare business cases including profit and cash flow analysis
- Support job cost reporting, estimating processes, and trading reviews
- Prepare Board packs, dashboards, and financial insight for decision-making
- Liaise with auditors and support year-end financial statements
- Manage and develop financial reporting from the COINS CVR system
Candidate Profile
- CCAB qualified or equivalent
- Proven experience in senior financial management
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Excellent analytical and financial accounting knowledge
- Strategic thinker with strong commercial awareness
- Clear communicator able to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders
