To carry out inspection, servicing, diagnostics and repair of light vehicles and/or HGV trailers, ensuring all work meets safety standards and MOT requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and repair HGV trailers.
- Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections.
- Carry out fault finding and mechanical repairs.
- Support electrical fault diagnosis where required.
- Carry out servicing and maintenance on cars and vans.
- Inspect vehicles to MOT standard.
- Diagnose faults using appropriate diagnostic tools.
- Perform repairs on light commercial vehicles and cars.
- Work collaboratively within a team of technicians.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or Vehicle Technician.
- Knowledge of light vehicles and/or HGV trailers.
- Experience with diagnostics and fault finding.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and safety standards.
- Basic electrical fault-finding knowledge (desirable).
Qualifications
- Relevant mechanical qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent).
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential).

Monday to Friday – 07:30 to 16:30
