Job Title: Health & Safety Coordinator / Advisor

Location: Walsall – with travel

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 Plus Company car/Allowance and benefits

I have an exciting new opportunity for a Health & safety Coordinator to work alongside the QUENSH Manger. This role will primarily require developing and implementing policies, procedures and training programs to prevent any workplace accidence or incidence alongside carrying out audits and inspections onsite. You’ll be based at the hub in Walsall but have a remit that covers the UK, working on numerous projects.

What’s the role:

  • Conducting regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Training employees on safety policies, procedures, and best practices in compliance with UK health and safety regulations.
  • Maintaining safety records, prepare reports, and monitor safety performance to ensure compliance with UK health and safety legislation.
  • Collaborating with other departments to address safety concerns and issues.
  • Staying updated on the latest UK health and safety regulations and best practices to ensure a safe working environment.

What you will need:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in analysing and interpreting data, with a keen attention to detail, combined with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety-related software
  • Knowledge of UK health and safety legislation, such as CDM 2015, LOLER & PUWER
  • Full driving licence.
