Job Title: Maintenance with FLT
Location: Barton-under-Needwood, Staffordshire
Duration: Min 3 months
Hours: 40 hours per week (Mon–Thurs 7am–4pm and Fri 7am–1pm)
Rate: TBC
Own transport is recommended due to location
Our client based in Barton Under Needwood, is looking for an experienced Handyman to provide general facilities and support across the site.
Must have a Fork Lift Truck Licence
Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring your own health and safety and that of others and promoting a positive health and safety culture within the workplace
- Ensure all Health and safety obligations are met, and company policies are adhered to
- Report any safety concerns, hazard observations, accidents and incidents by the end of that shift to allow full investigation and prevent re-occurrence
- Carry out a variety of planned and reactive site maintenance tasks which will be varied in nature and will include general building, carpentry, basic plumbing repairs, painting, groundwork and other general labouring duties
- Support building maintenance tasks
- Completing general repairs across site
- Undertake general facilities support tasks, grounds and site clearance, and keeping areas clean and tidy generally
- Work individually or as part of a team to complete repair and maintenance tasks
This is not an exhaustive list. You may also be required to carry out any other duties as required by the business that you are qualified/trained in that meet the scope, spirit and purpose of this role
