Working Hours: Monday to Thursday β 07:00 to 16:00, Friday β 07:00 to 13:00. Overtime is available.
Our Engineering client has a position for a Radiator Operative for a minimum of 3 months. The role of the operative is to carry out mandatory services and associated repairs.
Responsibilities:- Working in a manual environment, the role is to air under water pressure test product after weld process.
- Ability to read engineering drawings preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
- Checking quality of parts before and after process.
- Grinding/fettling product.
- Kitting parts to line.
- PPE supplied; safety glasses, ear protection, overalls, gloves, safety boots (and visors where relevant).
- To undertake training as and when required.
- To work within a realistic timeframe.
- To mentor trainees/apprentices when applicable.
- To ensure that waste is disposed of in the correct manner.
- To adhere to written or verbal instructions.
- Ability to work in a physically busy ever-changing demanding role.
- Manual Handling β Heavy Loads.
- Vibrating plant/tools/equipment.
