We are currently recruiting for a number of skilled Paint Sprayers. This is an excellent opportunity to work on rolling stock projects, starting with full training in Doncaster before moving to the main site in Burton-on-Trent for long-term work.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:- Prepare and spray rail vehicles and doors using water-based paint systems to a high-quality finish.
- Carry out paint preparation, masking, priming, and top-coat application.
- Follow strict health, safety, and environmental standards at all times.
- Conduct visual inspections to ensure all work meets the required quality specifications.
- Maintain all tools, equipment, and spray booths to ensure optimum performance.
- Proven paint spraying experience within the rail, automotive or aerospace industries.
- Skilled in working with water-based paints.
- Must successfully complete a prep and spray test during the interview process.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts (mornings, afternoons, nights) during the Doncaster phase.
- Flexibility to move to day shifts at Burton-on-Trent following training.
- Must pass a Medical and Drug & Alcohol screen prior to starting.
- Doncaster: Rotating shifts (mornings, afternoons, nights) – Monday to Friday.
- Burton-on-Trent: Expected to move to day shifts – Monday to Friday.

A mileage allowance of 30p per mile is paid from your home address to and from the Doncaster site. A weekly lump-sum payment is provided based on this mileage allowance – this can also be used towards local accommodation or digs if you prefer to stay near site instead of commuting daily.
